Live M65 traffic updates as vehicle fire causes closure and 'severe' delays
There are 'severe' delays on the M65 this morning following a vehicle fire.
The incident happened the westbound carriageway between junction three for Blackburn West and junction two for Clayton Brook. One lane has been closed. As a result of the incident, there is queuing traffic in the area. AA Traffic News reports 'severe delays' in the area with an average speed of 10mph.
Traffic monitoring website, INRIX, said: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to vehicle fire on M65 Westbound from J3 A674 Chorley Road to J2 M61 J9 ."
