M66 crash live updates with two lanes closed and rush hour delays
A motorway serving most of East Lancashire is currently partially closed because of a crash.
Two lanes are closed on the M66 southbound from J3 Pilsworth Road to J4 M60 J18 . Two cars are said to be involved in the crash. Motorists driving in the area are currently facing at least 15 minutes of queues. National Highways expect the road to be back to normal conditions by 6.15pm.Traffic report service Inrix says: "Two lanes closed and heavy traffic due to accident, two cars involved on M66 Southbound from J3 Pilsworth Road to J4 M60 J18 .Lanes one and two are closed."This is a live blog and we'll bring you updates as we get them.
