Maclean shared his hectic Christmas plans
Fair City star Maclean Burke has a busy Christmas ahead of him, but is looking forward to being “flat out” while soaking up the festive fun.
Opening up on his Christmas plans with family, Maclean told RSVP Live: “I love Christmas. As a kid, I used to literally get sick with excitement. I have tried to inject that excitement into my kids as they are growing up. “I always wanted to be a chef, not an actor, from about the age of five onwards. Thankfully I didn’t, I think I’d hate it now, but I still enjoy a bit of cooking so I’m looking forward to doing the dinner.”
“I’m excited for the kids who didn’t get to do it as well. Last year was the worst because we were ready to go and then it was pulled because of Covid and it was heartbreaking having to tell the kids we couldn’t do it. “Half the time people don’t realise it’s your man Damien off the telly because it’s so far removed from the character.”
