Mairead Ronan says she was 'written off' as new mother on RTE's Dancing With The Stars
The mum-of-three gave birth to daughter Bonnie just four months before filming began, and added that the doubters gave her extra motivation to take home the Glitter Ball Trophy.
“I said no when they asked me originally because I thought I won’t be good enough. It was actually my husband who said ‘go and give it a lash, I’ll take care of everything’. Mairead, 38, secured her place in the last five of the hit reality show last Sunday alongside partner John Nolan. She added: “With these things 95% of comments will be positive, but you will always get the negative.
“But this one I even had my dance partner John mention it to me, so I decided to share it and thankfully I got loads of support.
