National Highways confirmed an existing 40mph speed limit had been lifted on the A46 southbound.
The work has involved replacing damaged sections of the road, resurfacing and reinstating road markings
The upgrade of the A46 from Six Hills to Widmerpool, which began in September, is set to be completed in August, National Highways confirmed on Monday. A 40mph speed limit was put in place along the almost six mile stretch as resurfacing works were completed.
