Multiple vehicles were involved in a major crash on a rainy Saturday afternoon on the Sagamore Bridge that temporarily shut down the bridge in both directions and sent several people to the hospital.
Massachusetts State Police confirmed they responded to the westbound crash involving a roll-over with injuries and entrapment. Five people were taken to local hospitals with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening, state police said. Two of the five cars involved in a major crash Saturday on the Sagamore Bridge, that temporarily closed Route 6 in both directions.
