A major search and rescue operation is under way in the Californian mountains for missing British actor Julian Sands, who disappeared six days ago
Julian Sands has appeared in films and shows including A Room with a View, Leaving Las Vegas, 24 and Smallville .
Authorities have been searching for him over the weekend but efforts have been hampered by “avalanche risks” and trail conditions.
