A man is in a critical condition following a serious assault in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The man, 20s, is currently in hospital after being involved in an altercation on Dawson St on the southside of the city at around 1.45am.The injured man was initially taken to St James's Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont where he remains critical.A spokesperson has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
They have also asked that anyone in the area between 1.30am and 2am who may have caught footage, including from a dashcam, get in contact with them at Pease St Garda Station on 01 666 9000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
