A man is accused of running over a cyclist to the danger of his life while in a race with another car.Court papers state Skilling caused Mr Crook serious injury by driving his vehicle dangerously.The charge says Skilling"drove at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour and engaged in a race with another car."
Skilling is claimed to have cut out in front of a motor vehicle on the road and undertook cars on a bus lane. Allegations state that Skilling failed to keep proper lookout and maintain observations on the road ahead.Mr Crook is said to have been struck by the car before being thrown from his bicycle.The alleged offence is said to have been to Mr Crook's severe injury, permanent impairment and danger of life.A trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court will take place in September.
