A 44-year-old Dubliner has appeared in court charged over a ram raid incident in at the Hugo Boss store on Grafton Street in Dublin.

Lee Conlon, of Meath Place on Thomas St, appeared before Judge Paula Murphy at the Dublin District Court this afternoon.

He is accused of criminal damage to the value of €51,000 to the front door and windows of the Hugo Boss store on Grafton Street in the early hours of January 18th, as well as stealing €31,200 worth of goods from the shop.Garda Aine Hogan gave evidence of arrest charge and caution, to which Mr Conlon made no reply.He is due to appear before Cloverhill District Court via videolink next week.
