Services were disrupted due to the disturbance

Cops were called to Bowling railway station shortly before 9.30am this morning following an alleged assault.A British Transport Police spokesperson said:"We were called to Bowling railway station at 9.24am on March 16 to reports of an assault on-board a train.

"Officers attended, and a man was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been taken to police custody where he remains.”A tweet at 9.50am read:"Services through Bowling are being disrupted by a passenger causing a disturbance. The police are on their way. This will affect all services to/from Helensburgh and Balloch."

An update 12 minutes later read:"The passenger has been removed and services are now getting back on the move."
