Approximately 2.4 million cigarettes worth around €2,010,000 were seized
A man has been arrested after more than €2 million worth of cigarettes were seized in Wexford on Monday.
The cigarettes, branded Richmond, have a retail value of approximately €2,010,000, representing a potential loss to the exchequer of more than €1,582,000. Revenue Customs Officers have seized the cigarettes which have now been taken for further examination.
