A man in his 40s has been arrested
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 40s after almost €100k worth of drugs and cash were seized in Galway.
It is understood that investigations into the seizure and arrest, which forms part of Operation Tara, an anti-drugs and organised crime strategy, are ongoing. As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí attached to the Galway Divisional Drug Unit conducted a search operation under warrant at a residence in Tuam, Co. Galway this afternoon. The search forms part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Galway Division.
