Man arrested after 800-year-old skull stolen from St Michan's Church in Dublin
A man in his 20s was arrested on Thursday and is being detained at Bridewell Garda Station.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardai investigating a break-in and theft at St Michan's Church on 23rd/25th February 2019 have arrested a man in his 20s. “The man was arrested yesterday 7th March 2019 and is detained at Bridewell Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.”Gardai said in a statement: “The items were recovered as a result of information that came into the possession of the investigating officers.
