Officers in Edinburgh working on the Project Servator team made the arrest on the first day of festival.
A man has been arrested in connection with various offences during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - including a firearms charge.
Officers from Police Scotland confirmed the male had been arrested for firearms, offensive weapons and drug offences as people flocked to the capital to enjoy the annual event. Cops in the capital working on the Project Servator team made the arrest on the first day of the festival, Friday August 4.
