Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in which a 67-year-old pedestrian was killed in Dublin last month.

She was later identified as Carol Seery. The case was referred to the Garda Ombudsman as it was believed that the suspect car had come to the attention of gardaí shortly before the collision.
