A TikTok user named Dana Beers shared his bizarre experience at a Cape Cod restaurant where he was forbidden from eating onion rings outside. Despite seeing others enjoying the dish on the patio, Beers was told he had to eat them inside the bar area.
A man was left shocked after he was prevented from ordering onion rings at a restaurant - and being told where he was allowed to eat them.
However, despite his request, Beers said the restaurant employee was staunchly opposed to anyone eating onion rings outside the bar area. “‘You have to eat the onion rings inside,’” she reportedly said. The TikToker then explains he was told there’s only one worker in the kitchen who knows how to properly make the lauded onion ring dish - meaning if diners on the patio are eating them, that increases their visibility - meaning any flurry of requests would leave the chef overwhelmed.
