A man was caught in an Asda car park with heroin before later going on to steal from a dead man.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard last week how, on December 10, 2020, cops on patrol at Asda Toryglen saw Steven Shannon shouting at vehicles in the car park.
He ran in the direction of Toryglen Regional Football Centre and was seen throwing a knotted bag containing brown powder into some bushes.The 34-year-old was caught and arrested and taken to Cathcart police station.In a separate offence, on February 2, 2021, a housing association concierge spotted Shannon at a property on Albany Terrace in Cambuslang.
