The body of Elizabeth Watson was found at a property on Catto Drive on Tuesday, with police treating her death as murder
A man has been charged following the death of a "much loved" grandmother at a home in Peterhead. Elizabeth Watson, 58, was found dead after police were called to Catto Drive in the Aberdeenshire town at around 6.15pm on Tuesday.
Elizabeth's death has left her heartbroken loved ones and members of the local community completely devastated. In a statement released through Police Scotland, the family said: “Elizabeth was a much loved mum and grandma, she will be missed dearly by many.” As well as being a devoted mum and grandmother, she was a member of Apex Church and has been described as an amazing neighbour.
Helen Watson added: "She was a quiet lady who always said hello in passing. It's so sad to hear this, my thoughts are with her mum and dad."
