Mairi Doherty was found seriously injured within a block of flats following an alleged disturbance on John Street in Dunoon
at 1.25am on Saturday, July 23.
Police have since launched a murder investigation into the woman's death and have confirmed that a man has now been charged in relation. He appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court today.
