The man had previously been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to the incident
It follows an incident where the alleged victim was found lying unconscious in the street at the back of a license premises on Main Street on Sunday April 16.
The man, who has been named as 59-year-old Paul 'Fez' O'Boyle, later died in hospital on Monday April 24.The 56-year-old suspect was arrested on Wednesday morning.A police spokesperson said: "Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team, investigating the murder of Paul ‘Fez’ O’Boyle, have charged a 56-year-old man.
