A man has been remanded in custody after gardai charged him with the murder of a father of two in a shooting in Dublin over five years ago.
Paramedics treated him at the scene, but he was pronounced dead just over an hour after the shooting.Investigating gardai arrested Joseph Richards, 32, of Lanesborough Square, Finglas, Dublin 11,. They brought him to appear before Judge William Aylmer at Dublin District Court on Tuesday. Garda Neil Cotter gave evidence of arrest.
Mr Richards, who has yet to indicate a plea, was held in custody on remand and will appear again next week.
