Murphy, 31, appeared before Judge Monika Leech at Dublin District Court on Friday evening
A man charged with possession of a sword and dangerous driving arising out of an incident in Dublin where a garda was injured on Monday has been released on bail pending “possible further charges”.Father of one Dylan Murphy, 31, of Valeview Drive, Finglas, Dublin, was arrested on Friday and charged with dangerous driving at Denewood Apartments, Castleknock, on May 20, and with a weapons offence for unlawful possession of a sword at the same time.

Judge Leech noted that he had already surrendered his passport to the gardai, and she ordered him not to apply for a replacement.
