Man City defender John Stones was back in training as England ramped up their preparations for Euro 2024 on Tuesday.
John Stones and Luke Shaw have returned to training as England intensifies their preparations for Euro 2024. Manager Gareth Southgate has been dealing with fitness issues and player absences in the lead up to the summer tournament.
Manchester City defender Stones was forced off the pitch with an injury during Friday's 1-0 friendly loss to Iceland but he seems to have recovered from that potential setback. Stones was replaced by Ezri Konsa during the break of the final warm-up match to the minnows and posed a concern ahead of the Group C opener against Serbia with Liverpool's Jarell Quansah on stand-by.
England will begin their Group C campaign on Sunday against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen, before facing Denmark and Slovenia.
