Man City have given the green light for Callum Doyle to exit the club this summer as Norwich City close in on a deal,The England Under-21 international had a successful loan spell last season at Leicester City, helping the Foxes win the Championship.
He is valued by his parent club at around the £15million mark and interest in him comes after City sold Rory Delap to Ipswich Town in a £20m deal including add-ons.The defender has yet to make an appearance for Pep Guardiola’s side, and has spent the past three seasons on loan at various clubs.Despite being a young player, Doyle has earned plenty of first-team football in all of his loan spells.
After making 44 appearances for Sunderland, the defender went on to help Coventry City reach the play-off final in 2022-23 during his season at the Sky Blues.
