A man has been found guilty of calling in a hoax bomb threat to the home of the Justice Minister, Helen McEntee.

A man has been found guilty of calling in a hoax bomb threat to the home of the Justice Minister , Helen McEntee. Michael Murray , with a former address at Seafield Road, Killiney, Dublin, made the call from his prison cell three years ago. In March 2021, a volunteer with the Samaritans took a call from a man claiming to be a member of the Irish National Liberation Army . The operator told the jury he claimed a number of bombs had been planted at Minister McEntee’s home.

The call was traced back to Michael Murray’s prison cell but he denied having anything to do with it. Murray is a very dangerous criminal with a long list of convictions for crimes such as rape, false imprisonment, child abduction, threats to kill and harassment
