Ian Britton today told the Central Criminal Court trial of Gerard Cervi how he 'felt a sharp pain' in the right-hand side of his leg after a gunman shot him
A man has described being shot in the leg during a shooting in Bray Boxing Club that another witness later described as a "massacre."
The court has previously heard how Mr Messett was shot in the head and died "quickly" during an incident in which a gunman came up the stairs, stood in the doorway during an exercise class led by Pete Taylor - and fired a total of nine shots. He then went to one of the rooms where his two brothers Matt and Craig were - and he says he saw Bobby Messett on the ground.
Mr Hunter said he was paired with another man at a bench press on the right hand side of the exit door and that he was getting the stage set up when he heard a bang and "spun around" to see a man pointing a gun. In the aftermath of what happened Mr Hunter said he went into the changing room and "somebody was locked in the toilet."
He went on to describe a "smell of burning" in the room before being asked about what Pete Taylor was doing in the moments before the shooting occurred.
