For 'reasons unknown' the red Freelander Land Rover left the carriageway and collided with a tree
A man in his 60s has died after a vehicle hit a tree on the A43 in Northamptonshire. Police are appealing for witnesses after the fatal road traffic collision on the A43, near to the Hannington Crossroads, between Northampton and Kettering.
Shortly before 7.30pm yesterday , a red Freelander Land Rover, "for reasons unknown" according to the force, left the carriageway and collided with a tree. The driver, a man in his 60s from Rushden, died at the scene. Officers now want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have dashcam footage of the collision.
