A man has died after being hit by a lorry on a Glasgow street this morning
Emergency services raced to the scene and the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Sadly he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The 45-year-old female driver of the Mercedes lorry was uninjured. The road was shut for a time to allow emergency services to work but has since re-opened. Police are asking anyone with any information to come forward. Sergeant James Crawford of the Divisional Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died.
