Isabelle Glastonbury, 31, met her American lover in 2015 and they soon decided to move to her native Australia after they got engaged.
A woman says shortly after her husband's visa was approved he suddenly disappeared and 'ghosted' her.However, their love story quickly turned into a mystery tale when he disappeared without warning. Isabelle says the pair celebrated his visa approval with a romantic dinner before she came home to see that 90% of his belongings were gone from their home.
She claims her husband also "ghosted" their friends too, leaving everyone completely in the dark about what was going on. Isabelle said: “All of our mutual friends, the best man from our wedding and his own family, no one knew where he was." He started "disappearing at night", and she felt like she was married to a "complete stranger". The couple reportedly haven't spoken much about their breakup, other than during a brief meet-up in February 2021 where he explained to her that he 'had to be single'.
