He was arrested after arriving home to find his late grandmother's house ablaze
A man says that he desperately tried to get inside his late grandmother's house to save a lock of her hair and a picture following a house fire.
Speaking to Belfast Live, the 29-year-old said that he has now lost all of his and his grandmother's possessions in the fire and once he arrived at the scene he flew into a panic and was desperate to try and get into the property to save what he could.However, he says that this led him to getting arrested at the scene and was later questioned regarding a possible arson attack but was released without charge.
"I was arrested at the scene by the police because I was in such a panic and was later questioned about a possible arson at the property, but I was no where near it when the fire started and was released without charge shortly afterwards.
