A man's badly damaged remains were found at the Panda Recycling plant in Ballymount, South Co Dublin. It is suspected that he sought shelter in an industrial bin in Dublin City centre and was crushed when the bin was transported.

A man found dead in a recycling plant is suspected to have been homeless - and it is believed he had gotten into a bin for shelter.

A truck picked up the bin and took what was inside - with the man’s body being crushed by the compacter inside. At this point, it has not been fully established whether the man passed away prior to this or not. “At approximately 6:40am this morning Gardaí were notified. The scene is currently preserved and the technical bureau have been requested to attend the scene. No further information is available at this time.”
