This is the most recent in a space of savage attacks in the capital
A man has been hospitalised following an assault that took place on the same Dublin street that a US tourist was brutally attacked during the summer.
"A man in his early 30s was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital where he is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries. It comes as the family of 57-year-old Stephen Termini from New York who was attacked off Talbot Street last month said they do not feel safe in the city at nighttime.
He explained that time is needed to see the benefits of the extra €10 million Justice Minister Helen McEntee announced that would increase Garda visibility.
