A man in his 60s died following a collision with a car in Flowerhill, Navan, Co. Meath late last night. The driver of the car, also in his 60s, was uninjured. Gardaí have closed the road for a forensic collision investigation and are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage.
A man aged in his 60s has died following a crash in Co Meath late last night. Gardai say a car collided with a pedestrian at Flowerhill in Navan around 10.40pm.

"A car collided with a male pedestrian at Flowerhill, Navan, Co. Meath. The male pedestrian, aged in his 60s was fatally injured as a result of the collision. His body has been removed from the scene and has been taken to the Mortuary in Our Lady's Hospital, Navan where a post mortem will take place in due course. The male driver of the car was uninjured.
