A man remains in a critical condition after being stabbed in an alleyway in what police have described as a 'senseless act of violence'.
The victim, in his 20s, was rushed to hospital from the scene by paramedics with serious injuries and underwent surgery. He remains in a critical but stable condition.Officers later arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder, but he has since been released on police bail with investigations continuing.
