Man in critical condition as two people stabbed in Dublin
A man has been taken to Beaumont Hospital in critical condition after an incident this morning in which he and another woman received stab wounds.
The incident occurred at around 7.30am this morning , at a house in Darndale, Dublin 17. Both victims have been brought to Beaumont Hospital, where the man's condition is described as critical, and the woman's wounds are described by Gardaí as"serious but not life-threatening." A statement from An Garda Síochána detailed that the male victim is in his 50s and the female victim in her 40s.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Coolock Garda Station.Investigations are ongoing.
