Man in critical condition with serious head injuries after assault in town centre
A man is in critical condition in hospital after an assault last night . Police were called to the incident on Bridge Street, Ramsbottom, just after 10pm where a man in his 40s was found with serious head injuries.
GMP say the 'unknown' offender is a white male around 20 years old. They are also described as around 5ft 10 inches tall with blonde hair. A GMP Bury spokesman said: "Police appeal for information following an assault in Ramsbottom which has left a man seriously injured. At 10.06pm last night , police were called to a report of an assault on Bridge Street, Ramsbottom.
