Police are now appealing for witnesses
. A VW Polo car collided with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the Royal Preston Infirmary with serious injuries. No, police are looking for any witnesses to the crash or anyone with dashcam footage.A spokesperson for police said: "Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashboard mounted camera footage following a serious road traffic collision in Burnley.
"It happened near to a section of roadworks on Accrington Road, Burnley, at 8.40am today when a VW Polo car was in collision with a pedestrian. "As a result, the pedestrian - a man in his 20s - suffered serious injuries and is being treated at the Royal Preston Hospital."
