A 19-year-old man has been jailed for four-and-a-half years for his part in an assault that blinded a young woman in one eye.
Darragh Lyons of Weir View, Glenaulin, Chapelizod in Dublin pleaded guilty to assault causing serious harm and violent disorder at Ballyfermot Road on December 30th, 2021. Alanna Quinn Idris was left with a shattered tooth, broken cheekbones and a ruptured eyeball after the assault at the Civic Centre, Ballyfermot.
