The chase ended when the vehicle crashed into a home in Wood County, police say.
OTTAWA, Ohio — A man who fled from a traffic stop Saturday night ended up leading officers on a chase that covered 40 miles, finally ending when he lost control and crashed into a home, police say.
A 40-mile chase started that went through Putnam and Henry counties, then going into Wood County, where Black crashed into a house near North Baltimore. Black tried to run from the car after the crash but was quickly caught, police say.
