A man has been left with a serious life-changing injury after being attacked by masked men in Belfast.
One had a firearm and he pointed it at the man who reported hearing a number of clicks before he was struck in the face with the weapon.Police said the man was taken to hospital with a serious facial injury, which has been described as life-changing. "It was reported that he was approached by two men, wearing balaclavas, one of whom was armed with a firearm. The victim reported hearing a number of clicks when the suspect pointed the weapon at him.
"This was a vicious assault and our investigation is at an early stage as we work to establish the circumstances.
