Man receives facial injuries after bust-up with hammer wielding gang in Finglas, Dublin

A man has received facial injuries after a broad daylight bust-up with gang of males wielding a hammer in Dublin.Gardai attended the scene and arrested a man, in his 30s, for possessing an offensive weapon.

The suspect was detained before being charged. Gardai say he will appear before Blanchardstown District Court at a later date. A spokeswoman told the Irish Mirror: "Today Tuesday 28th January 2020 at approximately 12pm, Gardaí responded to a call of a dispute between numerous males at Cardiffsbridge Road, Finglas West, Dublin 11.

"One man was treated at the scene by paramedics for a facial injury. A man in his early 30s was arrested for Possession of an Offensive Weapon and detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
