Police are appealing for information
Officers are appealing for information as they launch an investigation following a serious assault in the west of Glasgow.
The incident happened around 6.40pm on Tuesday March 21, outside a premises on Finnieston Street, near to the traffic lights at the junction with Stobcross Road. A 38-year-old man was seriously injured and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, for treatment and later released.Detective Inspector Sarah Finnigan said: “We are appealing for information and asking anyone who saw what happened, before or after the incident, to get in touch.“If you can assist please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 2980 of Tuesday, 21 March, 2023, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
