The motorway was shut for eight hours
Police are appealing for information and video footage after a man was hospitalised with life changing injuries following a fail to stop collision on the M6 in Cheshire.
Officers attended the scene and found that the incident involved three vehicles, a black Peugeot 107, a white Volkswagen Scirocco, and a Peugeot 307. The M6 was closed for around eight hours following the serious crash in the middle of the night.The driver of the Peugeot 107, a 41-year-old man from St Helens, sustained serious injuries and was to the Salford Royal hospital; he is believed to have sustained life changing injuries.
The driver of the Peugeot 307, a 28-year-old woman from Preston, along with a 25-year-old passenger, were both uninjured. “As part of our investigation we are keen to hear from anyone who was travelling on the M6, near Thelwall, at the time of the incident and believes they may have witnessed the collision.
