Public transport on the Manchester Airport line was halted
Emergency services were called to Baguley Metrolink stop just before 3.30pm this afternoon amid reports of a 'collision between a tram and a patient on a bicycle', North West Ambulance Service confirmed. A man believed to be in his 30s was taken to hospital and is understood to have sustained minor injuries.

Delays continue on the line as schedules return to normal.A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "NWAS was called to Baguley Metrolink stop at 3.27pm, the incident was reported as a collision between tram and patient on bicycle. An ambulance, advanced paramedic, and an air ambulance were sent to the scene.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson added: "There has been a collision between a cyclist and a tram on Southmoor Road. Police were made aware at around 3.40pm. "[There has not been any] life-threatening or life-changing injuries, a male has been taken to hospital."
