Man tragically killed after being hit by a Luas in Kingswood, Co Dublin

The incident happened just before midnight on Monday near the Kingswood stop on the Red Line.

Luas confirmed that trams were temporarily suspended between Red Cow and Tallaght/Saggart after the tragic incident. A spokesman said: "Gardaí attended the scene of a collision between a pedestrian and the Luas at the Kingswood red line Luas stop at approximately 11.55p.m. on Monday.
