Man, 50s, tragically dies as truck and van crash on N21 in Co Kerry
The van driver, in his 50s, was pronounced at the scene on the N21 between Castleisland and Abbeyfeale Road.
Gardai have closed the road following the crash which happened at 9.10am on Monday. They have also appealed for witnesses to come forward. "The driver of the van, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene and was removed to Tralee University Hospital where a post mortem is expected to take place at a later date.
"Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information in relation to this incident, particularly any road users who may have camera footage who were travelling in the area at the time, to contact Gardaí.
