Jamie Carragher has suggested that Manchester United should consider a move for Thomas Tuchel this summer MUFC CFC
, Carragher said: “If he [Thomas Tuchel] gets the chance to leave for a club of United’s stature, he must take it.“Yes, it will seem a predatory move – taking advantage of Chelsea’s crisis – but from United and Tuchel’s perspective the more you consider it, the more of a no-brainer it is.
“Every chief executive in the world looking for a new coach will be – or at least should be – monitoring Tuchel’s mood and public comments between now and the end of the season. “Only clubs of a certain calibre could attract him. It would be negligent of United to fail to sound him out. As a coach, he is exactly what they need.”While speculation will continue to swirl around his future at the club,
following Abramovich’s statement about selling the club, saying that Chelsea ‘is an amazing place to be’.“I’ve said many times that I love working in the Premier League, I love being in England, I feel the tradition and the love for sports in general and for football in particular.“This is an amazing place to be. Chelsea is for my point of view, for me, the perfect fit. I love to be here, I love everything about the club and hopefully it continues.
“There is now an uncertainty, but isn’t it always as a football manager? So I am used to it on of course different levels, and this is quite the level I have to be honest. I am positive, and I hope things will end well.”
