Kobbie Mainoo has had a breakout season at Man Utd but the club aren't in a desperate rush to get him to sign a new deal.
Manchester United remain relaxed over Kobbie Mainoo 's contract situation as he caps his breakthrough season with a first international tournament with England.
The 19-year-old's performances have been so impressive this season that other clubs have started to admire the quality of the Stockport-born midfielder, with Barcelona linked with an interest in Mainoo in the Catalan press. United have made the academy graduate one of their unsellable assets this summer.ALSO READ: United fail with first Branthwaite bid as Everton reject £43m offer
Mainoo signed a long-term contract at his boyhood club in February 2023 and that deal still has three years to run on it, with the option of an extra year included. That deal came at a point when he had made just two first-team appearances, playing a total of 77 minutes.
