The Belgium international was a bit of a flop in Ligue 1 but he has returned to his best during his time at The King Power Stadium.His finest moment in a Leicester shirt came as he netted the winning goal in the FA Cup final in 2021. His current contract at Leicester expires in 2023 and he was expected to leave the club in the summer. They were said to want between £25-30m for him.
They have made an awful start to the new campaign as they have one draw and six defeats in the league.Tielemans is now away on international duty with Belgium and he has admitted that this has come at the right time as it is “tough at Leicester right now”:
